SERVICES

MANUAL THERAPY

Manual therapy is a treatment method based on precise mobilizations and hands-on techniques that help restore proper movement and function of joints and soft tissues. It is aimed at treating pain, stiffness, and limited mobility, providing relief in many musculoskeletal conditions.

PHYSIOTHERAPY

Physiotherapy is a comprehensive treatment that uses a variety of rehabilitation methods, including exercises, massage, and manual therapy, to restore a patient's physical function. It is aimed at treating injuries and pain, as well as improving overall physical condition and quality of life.

MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE

Manual lymphatic drainage is a massage technique that supports the flow of lymph, helping to reduce swelling and promote the body’s natural detoxification process. It is especially effective in treating lymphedema, cellulite, and for recovery after surgical procedures.

PAIN THERAPY

Pain therapy aims to relieve and eliminate chronic pain through various therapeutic methods, such as manual therapy, electrotherapy, massage, and relaxation techniques. It helps treat back pain, joint and muscle pain, as well as other chronic conditions.

SPORTS PHYSIOTHERAPY–KGG

Sports physiotherapy is a specialized treatment designed for physically active individuals. It focuses on the rehabilitation of sports injuries, restoring function after trauma, improving performance, and preventing future injuries—helping athletes return to training and competition as quickly and safely as possible.

THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE

Therapeutic massage is a treatment method that improves circulation, reduces muscle tension, and alleviates stress. By applying various massage techniques, it provides relief from muscle and joint pain, supports rehabilitation after injuries, and enhances both physical and mental well-being.

ULTRASOUND ELECTROTHERAPY

Ultrasound electrotherapy is a modern technique used to treat injuries, inflammation, and pain. Ultrasound waves have anti-inflammatory, regenerative, and muscle-relaxing effects, supporting the healing process of tissues.

CRYOTHERAPY

Cryotherapy, also known as cold therapy, is a method used to reduce inflammation, swelling, and pain. By cooling the tissues, cryotherapy accelerates the regeneration process, relieves discomfort, and improves blood circulation.

HEAT THERAPY

Heat therapy is a technique used to relax tense muscles and joints. Heat improves circulation, supports tissue healing, and relieves pain. It is commonly used in the treatment of injuries, muscle pain, and joint stiffness.

KINESIO-TAPING

Kinesio-Tapingis a method that involves applying special elastic tapes to support the treatment of injuries, relieve muscle pain, and improve joint stability. The tapes are designed to enhance the body's natural healing processes, reduce pain, and accelerate recovery.

PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation)

PNF is an advanced rehabilitation technique that combines exercises, stretching, and movement to improve coordination, strength, and muscle flexibility. It is used in the rehabilitation of individuals after injuries or surgeries, as well as in the treatment of patients with neurological disorders.

BOBATH

The Bobath concept is a therapeutic approach focused on the rehabilitation of individuals with neurological disorders such as strokes or paralysis. It aims to improve motor control and restore physical function by supporting the patient's normal movement development.

FAQ

How long is my prescription valid?

Patients covered by statutory health insurance should begin treatment within 28 days of the prescription being issued by the health insurance provider, within 7 days for prescriptions related to employer liability (workplace accidents), and within 3 weeks for Bundeswehr prescriptions. We are obliged to comply with these health insurance fund regulations.

We know that massage relaxes the body, but in most cases of ailments, another therapeutic intervention makes more sense in the long term.

Yes, during the phone call, please have your prescription ready. You can schedule your first appointment by phone, and then arrange further appointments in person at our location. Before your first treatment, please take 10 minutes to schedule your follow-up visits to ensure the process runs as smoothly as possible. We’ll be happy to confirm your appointment by email.

Of course, all appointments for follow-up prescriptions can also be arranged with us by phone. Please note that the scheduled appointment is binding, and a cancellation fee will be charged if the appointment is missed.

To make a binding reservation for all appointments, we kindly ask you to come to the practice in person after the phone call and finalize the schedule with us. This ensures a regular and consistent appointment sequence.

For your first visit to the practice, please bring your health insurance card and the prescription from your doctor. It’s a good idea to also bring any relevant documents, such as surgical reports, X-rays, or MRI scans. These will be digitized at our practice and used solely for documentation and to record our findings. You can rest assured that we are bound by confidentiality.

Please note that we are unable to open digital results provided on CDs.

That depends on the therapy prescribed by your doctor. A treatment session lasts between 20 and 40 minutes. We will inform you of the exact duration when you schedule your appointment.

The abolition of the practice fee in medical offices for patients with statutory health insurance since January 2013 does not affect the co-payment in physiotherapy practices. The payment due based on a prescription for therapeutic treatments is not a “practice fee,” but rather a prescription fee, regulated under Book V of the German Social Code (§ 32 para. 2 in conjunction with § 61 sentence 3 SGB V).

By law, a co-payment of 10% of the invoice amount, plus a prescription fee of €10 (per prescription), must be paid for therapeutic prescriptions. Of course, this will be confirmed. Please note that this amount is not retained by us but is forwarded to the health insurance provider.

Please understand that, for insurance reasons, we can only provide treatments that are specifically prescribed on the prescription (e.g., MT, KG, etc.).

Treatments are only available by prior appointment, so we kindly ask you to contact us by phone or email to schedule one.

Please understand that, in exceptional cases, there may be a short delay even if you have an appointment at a specific time.

The co-payment is due at your final appointment and is preferably paid in cash. Alternatively, we also accept EC card payments.

Patients who are exempt from co-payments, as well as children and adolescents under the age of 18, are not required to make a co-payment. No additional fees are charged for treatments covered by the Employer’s Liability Insurance Association (BG), the Bundeswehr, or for private prescriptions.

As a rule, appointments canceled on short notice cannot be reassigned. Therefore, it is important that you cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance in urgent cases. Cancellations should be made directly with the appropriate practice. You can contact us by phone, send an email, or leave a message on our voicemail.

If a scheduled appointment is not canceled at least 24 hours in advance, it will be considered as attended, and a cancellation fee of approximately €30 will be charged.

For treatments longer than 20 minutes, this amount may be higher.

From a legal perspective, the claim for a cancellation fee is based on § 615 of the German Civil Code (BGB).

Before your appointment, you will receive an SMS reminder from our system. Please do not reply to it, as unfortunately, replies do not reach us.

How can I obtain an exemption from co-payments?

It is based on the gross household income and is calculated individually.

For more information on how to obtain an exemption from co-payments, please contact your health insurance provider directly.

Privately insured patients or self-paying individuals who wish to use our treatment services can refer to our price list as a guide and are required to make payment at the start of treatment.

For informational purposes, you will be provided with a fee agreement and the current price list.

Invoices can be paid by EC card, in cash, or via bank transfer.

The cancellation fee arises solely due to the patient’s responsibility and is therefore not reimbursed by health insurance providers. Of course, it will still be charged to you.

We kindly ask for your understanding that, due to the high number of patients, we are unable to offer this option.

We prefer cash payments, but of course, debit card payments are also accepted.

There are many public parking spaces near the practice available free of charge.

There is access via Bus 110 nearby.

The S-Bahn lines S41/S42 (Ringbahn) are about 750 meters away.

We recommend wearing comfortable sportswear and bringing any medical documentation you may have.
